plym with 17 crew visited New York to participate in the Leif Ericsson Millenium

 Viking
Plym is the oldest sailing Viking Ship - built in 1912 for the Olympic Games
in Stockholm. She's also the first Viking ship to be supported by solar
power! An ingenious solar shield now complements her other (weapon) shields.

visit has been organised with great help from Dennis L. Johnsson from the
Norseman - a sister ship from Philadelphia. Dennis is now a honorary member
of "Täby Vikinga Skeppslag" |
